The Sun County Panthers would like to congratulate all players selected in the OHL Priority Draft, particularly the local talent rostered to Windsor, Chatham and Sun County.

Sun County is extremely proud of the following individuals, and their OHL selection:

  • Declan Waddick, Niagara Ice Dogs
  • Ryan MacPherson, Ottawa 67's
  • Connor MacPherson, Ottawa 67's
  • Michael Kopcok, Oshawa Generals
  • Max Frattaroli, Windsor Spitfires
  • Carter Duarte, Barrie Colts

Special recognition and congratulations to Elgin Middlesex Chiefs AAA Goaltender Taya Currie on being drafted to the Sarnia Sting. Taya becomes the first female to be drafted to the OHL.

    It was a Big Weekend for Sun County at the CCM Detroit Motown 2022. Congratulations to the U12, U13 and U15 for taking home the Championship! All three teams fought hard and went undefeated for the weekend.
