2010, U13, Thomas Luxik
Thomas Luxik will return to guide the 2010 group, for the 2022/2023 season.
Known as one of the best skating and skills coaches in the area, Thomas guided the SCP U12 team to a 1st place record in the Alliance, finishing the regular season with a remarkable record of 20-3-2. Additional highlights include strong performances against GTHL powerhouses Vaughan Kings and the Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Coach Luxik is well known for his ability to develop players, as he has previously been hired as an International Skills Coach to work with National teams in the Czech Republic, and Germany. Coach Luxik consistently applies the knowledge he has gained on the global platform, delivering new skills and techniques to his players. Currently, Thomas has 10 prospects playing in the OHL and NHL Congratulations Coach Thomas, and welcome back.
2009, U14, Austin Wycisk
Coming off another strong season, Sun County is proud to welcome back Austin Wycisk as the Head Coach of our U14 program. Coach Wycisk guided the 09’s to an impressive 21-2-0 record this past season, finishing 1st place in the West Division. The 09’s earned multiple impressive victories during the 2021/2022 season, including wins over the York Simcoe Express, Toronto Nationals, and Don Mills Flyers. As a player, ‘Wyz’ has extensive International experience, spending over a decade playing in European Professional leagues. Congratulations Coach Austin, and welcome back.
2008,U15, Nik Dobrich
Nik Dobrich will return for his 2nd season as Head Coach of our 2008 program. Under Coach Nik’s leadership, the 08’s developed into a team that plays with structure, and understands the importance of playing as a team. Entering his 9th year of coaching with Sun County, Nik understands the importance of team culture, and instilling group cohesiveness. Further, with his previous coaching experience as a skills instructor, Coach ‘Doby’ will push the players hard this coming season, as his season goal is to prepare the 08’s for their U16 OHL draft year.

2007, U16, Zack Percy
Sun County is proud to welcome back Zack Percy to the organization. A graduate of the Sun County program as a player, Zack will be charged with the development of our 2023 OHL Draft year team. Zack previously played for the SCP U16 team, before moving on to play Junior hockey with the LaSalle Vipers and the Windsor Spitfires. Most recently, Zack has devoted his time to coaching the U18 Windsor AAA program, and served as an Assistant Coach with the Leamington Flyers. During the 2018/2019 season, Coach Percy was part of the Flyers staff that was recognized by the GOJHL as ‘Staff of the Year’. Joining Zack on the U16 staff will be a trio of former Sun County Panthers and Leamington Flyers, in Griffin Robinson, Dylan Weston, and Jake Nimmo. Congratulations Coach Percy and staff.
